America's Cup AC36 Prada Race Timetable Changesdate

Over the next few weeks, our timetables may vary due to the America's Cup AC36 races. Please view our most up to date timetables online and sign up to our txt alerts to keep up to date with any changes.

Hamer Street terminal access during the 36th America's Cup

During the 36th America’s Cup race days, there will be limited access to our Hamer Street, Auckland Central terminal.

Hamer Street will have restricted access between 11am and 11pm (subject to change). If stopped by a traffic marshal, please have your booking confirmation on hand or state you're travelling with SeaLink to be let through.

The dates for these races are as follows:

  • The Prada Cup challenger series: 15 January - 22 February 2021
  • The America’s Cup match: 6 - 21 March 2021

Cashless payments onboard and at terminals

Please note, for the safety and security of both staff and passengers, we are still no longer accepting cash payments onboard or at our terminals.

Ferry check-in times

Waiheke Island & Great Barrier Island 

  • Check-in 30 minutes prior to departure to or from Waiheke Island
  • Check-in 60 minutes prior to departure to or from Great Barrier Island

Due to loading requirements, boarding will close 20 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and 15 minutes prior for foot passengers.

Please note: To get everyone loaded and ensure the ferry departs on time, we can’t guarantee passage if you’re running late.

Covid-19 Update

Please remember to follow the recommended COVID-19 guidelines when travelling with us:

  • Maintain physical distancing
  • Scan the Covid Tracer QR code at the terminals and onboard each ferry
  • Wearing a face covering/mask is now mandatory on all SeaLink sailings
  • Wash your hands frequently

If you feel at all sick, please stay at home and do not travel.

Keeping the Hauraki Gulf Pest Free

Remember to ensure your vehicles are clean before arriving at our terminals as heavily soiled vehicles and machinery may be turned away from our vessels due to fear of spreading Kauri Die Back Disease to the Hauraki Gulf Islands.

Gold AT HOP card Waiheke Travel

Travelling to Waiheke Island as a foot passenger on your Gold AT HOP card from Half Moon Bay or Wynyard Quarter? Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Please remember it is IMPORTANT that you 'tag on' when boarding and 'tag off' on arrival at your destination.
