Gradual Reopening of Onboard Café and Bars

In Alert Level 2 we are looking to begin trialling reopening our on board services onboard the Seacat, with a limited range of products only.

We will fully open only once we are confident that we are able to serve you safely and in a safe environment with other vessels to follow shortly after.

Renewing or purchasing concessions and monthly passes

To renew your monthly passes and/or purchase a concession over the Alert Level 2 period, please call our bookings team prior to arriving at the terminal to let the local ticket office know you wish to renew or purchase, so that we can take payment and have your sticker or pass ready when you next call in to our terminal.

Due to there being person-to-person contact in creating a new monthly pass, we will not allow the creation of new monthly passes during the Alert Level 4, 3 and 2 period. You will instead need to purchase concession passes while under these two Alert Levels.

Please note, over this Alert Level 2 period we still do not accept cash payments onboard or at our terminals.

Passenger number limits on our sailings

For safety reasons and to accommodate social distancing, our passenger limits are restricted. To avoid missing out on your preferred sailing times, we recommend booking in advance.

Keeping the Hauraki Gulf Pest Free

Remember to ensure your vehicles are clean before arriving at our terminals as heavily soiled vehicles and machinery may be turned away from our vessels due to fear of spreading Kauri Die Back Disease to the Hauraki Gulf Islands.

Gold AT HOP card Waiheke Travel

Travelling to Waiheke Island as a foot passenger on your Gold AT HOP card from Half Moon Bay or Wynyard Quarter? Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Please remember it is IMPORTANT that you 'tag on' when boarding and 'tag off' on arrival at your destination.

  • Check-in 30 minutes prior to departure to or from Waiheke Island
  • Check-in 60 minutes prior to departure to or from Great Barrier Island

Please note: To get everyone loaded and ensure the ferry departs on time, we can’t guarantee passage if you’re running late.
