Waiheke Cancelled Sailings

Due to operational requirements on Monday 25 March the following sailings have been cancelled.

Departing Half Moon Bay: 5am, 7am, 11am and 5pm.

Departing Waiheke: 6am, 8am, 12pm and 6pm.

Recent operational changes

1. We have moved to demand driven pricing for adult passenger fares, meaning these fares now move up and down partly in response to demand. A $5 change fee will apply when changing your standard adult passenger fare, and where a booking increases in value, the $5 change fee will apply plus any fare difference must be paid. Visit for further details.

Wynyard Quarter road closure from 17 September 2018

For further beautification of the Wynyard Quarter area, a section of Daldy Street will be closed for approximately 12 months from Monday 17th September. Alternate routes to the SeaLink ferry terminal include both Beaumont Street and Halsey Street.

Gold AT HOP card Waiheke Travel

Travelling to Waiheke Island as a foot passenger on your Gold AT HOP card from Half Moon Bay or Wynyard Quarter? Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Please remember it is IMPORTANT that you 'tag on' when boarding and 'tag off' on arrival at your destination.

Ferry check-in times

Waiheke Island & Great Barrier Island 

  • Check-in 30 minutes prior to departure to or from Waiheke Island
  • Check-in 60 minutes prior to departure to or from Great Barrier Island

Please note: To get everyone loaded and ensure the ferry departs on time, we can’t guarantee passage if you’re running late.
