8am ex Hamer St to Tryphena (Island Navigator)

3pm ex Tryphena to Hamer St (Island Navigator)

*Freight will now be delivered on Saturday 23rd October sailing.

Travel at Alert Level 3

COVID-19 Alert Level 3 Update

When at Alert Level 3, travel on our ferries is allowed for permitted reasons

Where you are travelling with a vehicle, we ask that you and your passengers remain in your vehicles whilst at our terminals and on our ferries.

At Alert Level 3, we will be allowing foot passenger travel but please note that due to social distancing, passenger numbers are very limited. To avoid missing out we recommend that you book in advance.

We ask that you wear a mask / face covering at all times at our terminals and on our vessels. If you have a mask exemption, please consider travelling in a vehicle rather than as a foot passenger and that you may be asked to show an Exemption Card.

Please note, for the safety and security of both staff and passengers, we are no longer accepting cash payments onboard or at our terminals and the cafes/bars on board all vessels are closed.

We have been alerted, that a positive Covid-19 case has travelled with SeaLink on Sunday 17th from Halfmoon Bay to Kennedy Point.

The person travelled by car and remained in their vehicle for the duration of the trip, and we have been advised by the covid hotline that we are not a place of interest.


SeaLink would like to assure all our customers that we have a high standard of cleaning and sanitisation of our terminals and ferries.

We have just completed our latest round of a sterilisation process using Zoono, a surface sanitiser that lasts on surfaces for up to 30 days.


After talking with the Covid hotline, we are deemed to be at a low risk level and our ferries will remain operational as per our current timetable.

Caution needed around Kennedy Point
To facilitate upcoming construction work happening at Kennedy Point Marina, there will be one lane closed on Donald Bruce Road. To assist with reducing volumes and congestion on the road as well as the associated health and safety risks in the area, all passenger and vehicle ticket sales should be booked at or by calling 09 300 5900.

Stand-by places cannot be guaranteed on any sailing during this time.

Foot passengers should be picked up and dropped off at the 24-hour carpark at the top of the hill and not at the terminal.

Ferry check-in times

Waiheke Island & Great Barrier Island 

  • Check-in 30 minutes prior to departure to or from Waiheke Island
  • Check-in 60 minutes prior to departure to or from Great Barrier Island

Due to loading requirements, boarding will close 20 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and 15 minutes prior for foot passengers.

Please note: To get everyone loaded and ensure the ferry departs on time, we can’t guarantee passage if you’re running late.
