Rarohara Kūtai & Kai Festival – Port Fitzroy

Formerly the Port Fitzroy Mussel Fest, this refreshed festival celebrates kai, community, and the unique identity of Rarohara (Port Fitzroy). Enjoy kūtai (mussels), local dishes, live music, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Entry by gold coin donation.
Afterglow Festival & Sunday Session
24–25 January 2026
Aotea’s newest summer festival brings together top Aotearoa musicians including Tiki Taane, Black Comet, DJ Axis, and more. Set in one of the country’s most beautiful landscapes, it’s a celebration of creativity, connection, and island culture. The festivities continue with a laid-back Sunday Session at the Currach Irish Pub.
