From now until 21 December SeaLink advises there will be construction work happening on Donald Bruce Road and in the location close to the SeaLink Kennedy Point ferry terminal. Parking will be significantly reduced and traffic volumes higher than normal. To assist with reducing volumes and congestion on the road as well as the associated health and safety risks in the area, SeaLink requests all passenger and vehicle ticket sales to be booked at www.sealink.co.nz or by calling 0800 732 546.
Stand-by places cannot be guaranteed on any sailing during this time.
Foot passengers should be picked up and dropped off at the 24-hour carpark at the top of the hill and not at the terminal.
For the purposes of health and safety, it is important that at all times passengers and vehicle drivers follow the instructions of SeaLink marshals at Kennedy Point, as well as any signage.
SeaLink appreciates your assistance and tolerance during this period and your best endeavours to assist with safety.
Here at SeaLink we operate a Zero Harm policy throughout the company to ensure our passengers, crew, team and customers are all safe.
For this reason, when travelling with dangerous goods we rely on goods being correctly identified, packaged, handled and documented for safe carriage. All fuels must travel in an approved fuel container.
To ensure your own personal safety, we request that if you are travelling with dangerous goods that you check the dangerous goods list. If you are still unsure either refer to our Dangerous Goods onboard SeaLink vessels or contact us for further assistance.
Please note: Passengers are required to vacate the vehicle deck on all DG sailings
Due to road works at our Kennedy Point terminal there is very limited access to the booking office. If you wish to make a booking feel free to contact us on 0800 732 546 or use our online booking facility. We ask that if you are picking up or dropping off to arrange this at the top car park.
Thank you for your patience.
- The Team at SeaLink
Please be aware from the 1st October 2018 for a short while there will be no SeaLink shuttle service to/from Kennedy Point. We are looking at getting this back up and running as soon as possible and will keep you updated.

For further beautification of the Wynyard Quarter area, a section of Daldy Street will be closed for approximately 12 months from Monday 17th September. Alternate routes to the SeaLink ferry terminal include both Beaumont Street and Halsey Street.
Follow the below link for more information about the upgrades, including new high-quality footpaths, roads and landscaping, and further details on the road closure
