Upcoming changes to SeaLink Waiheke timetables

From Monday 24th June, SeaLink will be making some amendments to Waiheke timetables.

Every year SeaLink undergoes a winter maintenance programme in Whangarei and these changes are to accommodate essential vessel repairs and refurbishment. Additionally, recent changes to the Employment Relations Act introducing mandatory new meal breaks requires some timetable amendments.

During the period from late June to 29th September three SeaLink vessels: Seacat, Seamaster and Seabridge, will undergo their repair and maintenance programmes. As well as our own programme this is also a Maritime New Zealand requirement to ensure the safety of our customers.

Our new timetable for 24th June to 29th September is different from that previously advised for this period and is now available at www.sealink.co.nz/timetables-fares.

As we do every year, we will accommodate our customers with the minimum of disruption possible. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience the timetable changes may cause and thank you for your understanding.

Caution - Construction Work at Kennedy Point Ferry Terminal

From Monday 11 March until 21 December 2019 Auckland Transport will be undertaking construction work close to the SeaLink Kennedy Point ferry terminal.

The following changes will be in place;

  • Donald Bruce Road will be reduced to a ‘confirmed ferry booking’ lane only.
  • Parking near the terminal will not be available
  • Foot passengers should be picked up and dropped off at the 24-hour carpark at the top of the hill, not at the terminal.
  • Due to the loss of lanes near the terminal, ‘standbys’ cannot be accommodated

To assist with reducing volumes and congestion SeaLink requests all passenger and vehicle sales and booking changes be made at www.sealink.co.nz or by calling 0800 732 546.

SeaLink appreciates your assistance and tolerance during this period and your best endeavours to assist with safety.
