Due to the Auckland Marathon, sailing on Sunday 28th October will leave at 7:00am.

**Saturday travel is only from 20th October to 29th December. Sailing on Saturday 8th December will arrive at Port Fitzroy. Sailing on Saturday 15th December will leave Wynyard Wharf at 7am to Whangaparapara and return at 1.30pm.

  • Weekend timetable not valid on long weekends and public holiday
  • Baggage - there is a check in allowance of 2 pieces per person. These items can vary and include, suitcase, backpack, chilli bin, or banana box. All baggage (max. 32kg) must be secured in our baggage truck or bins while we are sailing to keep all of our passengers safe. You are permitted to have one small carry on item and we suggest that all essentials and any medications required are in this bag.
  • FDG:  These services also carry freight and fuel - the return leg from the island may be delayed due to the time taken in offloading freight. The space can be limited, bookings are recommended.

# To obtain these discounts identification must be shown. Students require appropriate student identification. Seniors fares are valid for those 65 years and over.

^ Family Passes require all members of the family to travel together in both directions. Any split in the party's travel will require the payment of full return fares for every family member.

+ Vehicle prices do not include the driver. Please call 0800 SEALINK (0800 732546) to obtain prices for trucks (4.5m or longer with a carrying capacity of 1 tonne +), trailers, caravans, buses, and campervans longer than 7m.

Unaccompanied vehicles or trailers can only travel on certain sailings and by prior arrangement, please ask the consultants for details.

Free baggage allowance for walk-on passengers is two pieces per person. Extra baggage will be charged. (maximum weight per bag is 32kg)

Dangerous goods

Here at SeaLink we operate a Zero Harm policy throughout the company to ensure our passengers, crew, team and customers are all safe. 

For this reason, when travelling with dangerous goods we rely on goods being correctly identified, packaged, handled and documented for safe carriage. All fuels must travel in an approved fuel container.

To ensure your own personal safety, we request that if you are travelling with dangerous goods that you check the dangerous goods list.  If you are still unsure either refer to our Dangerous Goods onboard SeaLink vessels or contact us for further assistance.

Please note: Passengers are required to vacate the vehicle deck on all DG sailings.

Travel alerts

Kennedy Point to Oneroa village - Shuttle Link

Please be aware from the 1st October 2018 for a short while there will be no SeaLink shuttle service to/from Kennedy Point.  We are looking at getting this back up and running as soon as possible and will keep you updated.

Wynyard Quarter road closure from 17 September 2018

For further beautification of the Wynyard Quarter area, a section of Daldy Street will be closed for approximately 12 months from Monday 17th September. Alternate routes to the SeaLink ferry terminal include both Beaumont Street and Halsey Street.

Great Barrier Island - 28 Oct 18

Due to the Auckland Marathon on 28 October our sailing to Great Barrier Island will be departing 1 hour early at 7am. Please check in at 6am to ensure you get through any road closures.
