Discover Pine Harbour

Make your daily commute from the beautiful Pohutukawa Coast to the city easier with us

Pine Harbour Marina is nestled on the beautiful Pohutukawa Coast and is one of East Auckland’s best-kept secrets. Offering a sheltered harbour for yachts, it sits alongside the seaside settlement of Beachlands. Bound on two sides by the sea, its north facing orientation offers spectacular sea vistas.

Pine Harbour Marina restaurants and shopsWith twenty services into the city every weekday, we like to think we can make your daily commute easy and enjoyable. If you live in town then why not catch a ferry from town after work on a Friday and enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants perched alongside the marina, before heading back into town.

If you have the energy to burn you could hit the Beachlands-Maraetai walkway, which runs 5km from Second View Ave, Beachlands, past sites of historical significance, coastal flora and fauna through Te Puru and Omana Esplanade Reserve. The walkway will take 95 minutes to complete one-way for those with a moderate fitness level. Along the way, there are safe swimming beaches. To reward your efforts, treat yourself at one of the cafes at Maraetai or grab some food to take away and head to the large grassed picnic area (which has a children's playground).

Back at Pine Harbour, you could spend time at one of the cafés, buy an ice cream, take a stroll around the marina, swing a club at the driving range or play a round of golf at the PGA world-class Formosa Golf Resort next door.

My daughters use the ferry to get to school but can go by bus if sea conditions are not good.  Great to get the heads up. Thanks for the great service you provide, we do appreciate it.  -Higgott Family.
