# To obtain these discounts identification must be shown. Students require appropriate student identification. Seniors fares are valid for those 60 years and over. Seniors Card holders must show their Seniors Card.
Luggage allowance and excess luggage charges
Your allowance is 2 bags per person. Kayaks are $60 return. Dogs are $20 return. Dogs are a threat to our precious birdlife and native skinks - please don't take your dog to Great Barrier unless you absolutely have to. Click here for more info on taking pets to the island. Additional items (including bags, surfboards and bikes) are $20 return.

Unaccompanied vehicle form
Unaccompanied cars will incur a surcharge of $25 per sector of travel. During the peak times of December, January and public holiday weekends this surcharge will be $60 per sector of travel.
