1.2 All fares are in NZD$ and include GST (15%).
Certain fare types are based on space availability and require prepayment. Our sales team will advise you of these at the time of booking.
1.4 Child ferry fares are valid for those 5-15 years inclusive. O-4 years travel free of charge. Children under 12 years of age may not travel unaccompanied unless an authorisation form is completed.
1.5 Student fares are valid for those who hold appropriate student identification. Identification may be requested at check in.
1.6With the exception of the driver, seniors holding a SuperGold Card may travel for free after 9am Monday – Friday and any time on Saturday, Sunday or public holidays. Only one–way tickets will be issued and the SuperGold Card MUST be presented for each sector of travel. The full fare for a car must be paid. If you are the driver of a vehicle or if you are travelling before 9am, the standard SeaLink Senior fare applies to:
1.7 Please note seatbelts must be worn whilst boarding and disembarking the vessel.
1.8 There is no hand luggage restriction for Waiheke Island.
1.9 All passengers and cars travelling to/from Waiheke Island should report 30 minutes prior to departure. Due to loading requirements SeaLink reserves the right to load standby vehicles or deny boarding after this time.
1.10Lost tickets will not be reissued. Should a ticket be lost, a new ticket will need to be purchased.
1.11 We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
1.12All tickets are valid for one calendar year from the date of issue. Expired tickets are not valid for travel.
2. Fare types, booking and cancellation conditions and insurance
2.1 Cheques are not acceptable for payment.
2.2 Vehicle bookings are essential. Foot passenger bookings are not essential but recommended.
2.3 Cancellation fees: SeaLink reserves the right, in the event of a confirmed/paid booking being cancelled by a passenger, to charge a cancellation fee. Insurance is highly recommended. Cancellation fees apply to the total booking value and are as follows:

2.10 Vehicles, types of vehicles and loading requirements
3.1 For the purposes for the Carriage of Goods Act 1979, any goods including vehicles and belongings within the vehicle are carried at "limited carrier's risk". SeaLink will only be liable for any damage or loss to any goods up to the value of $1,500.00. Passengers are advised to insure any goods of a value of more than $1,500.00.
3.2 SeaLink shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to any vehicle and any belongings within the vehicle if such loss or damage resulted from inherent vice, seizure under a legal process, or saving or attempting to save a life or property in peril.
3.3 SeaLink shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to your luggage or personal belongings while on board any SeaLink services.
3.4 SeaLink accepts no responsibility for any parcel, package, luggage or other goods placed or left on any SeaLink services.
3.5 Travellers shall not remove, damage or interfere with any part of SeaLink property.
3.6 Any traveller who interferes with, damages or causes damage to any SeaLink property shall be liable for the cost of the repair and reinstatement of that property together with any other losses, damage or expense SeaLink may have incurred.
3.7 SeaLink has the right to refuse to carry any person, or to seek to remove, or remove from the vehicle any traveller, who is carrying dangerous goods, is intoxicated, drugged, or behaving in a manner which is dangerous or offensive to other travellers, and who refuses to comply with a reasonable request made by SeaLink under these circumstances.
3.8 Dangerous Goods must be declared to SeaLink prior to boarding. SeaLink reserves the right to refuse carriage of any dangerous goods that are in any way volatile in nature, offensive or likely to cause harm to SeaLink passengers or crew.
3.9 Carriage of domestic animals is permitted but not in the passenger cabin unless they are confined in an acceptable cage. Animals must be attended to and kept under the strict control of the accompanying passenger at all times. Dogs must be kept on a lead. SeaLink reserves the right to refuse carriage of any animal at any time.
The Hauraki Gulf is a controlled area with respect to the movement of animal pests* under the Biosecurity Act 1993. The movement of pests into and out of, or from another place within the Gulf is prohibited. SeaLink supports the conservation of the Hauraki Gulf Islands and will advise the appropriate authority if any passenger or vehicle is seen to be carrying these animal pests.
*Animal pests include: possums, deer and feral goats, wallabies, mustelids, rabbits, ferrets and stoats.

4.2 All services provided are subject to the conditions of the principal providers and no responsibility is accepted by SeaLink for misrepresentation, unforeseen omissions or additional costs incurred, including those arising from adverse weather conditions.
4.3 Cancellation Insurance is inexpensive and highly recommended as disrupted holiday plans can prove costly. We recommend you contact your insurance provider who will assist you to choose the right cover.
4.4 In the event that the accommodation confirmed by SeaLink is unable to be provided by the supplier, SeaLink will use best endeavours to find an alternative. SeaLink will not be responsible for costs incurred or pricing differentials and for this reason Cancellation Insurance is recommended.
5.1 All prices contained in the SeaLink Holidays brochure are per person (New Zealand dollars), including GST. At the time of printing the current brochure, all costs, itinerary details and timetables were correct; however these are subject to change.
5.2 Child ferry fares apply to those aged 5-15years inclusive. Child ages and costings vary between properties. Please check.
5.3 Twin prices are based on a "double" configuration based on two people sharing a double bed (queen or king at some properties) or "twin" consisting of two single beds.
5.4 "Extra adult" prices are based on sharing with two other adults in the same unit. Should an adult require their own unit, they will be charged at single rates.
5.5 Single rates are based on a person having their own room or unit. Single package prices available on request.
5.6 Air Travel: Child fares apply to those aged between 2 and 16 years and increase at 3 years, 5 years and 15 years - please ask for details. Infants under 2 years travel free of charge if seated on an adult's knee. If a seat is required, a child fare will apply.
5.7 Please advise us of any special food requirements if staying at B&B or fully catered properties.
Prices are valid until 31 October 2011, (subject to the General Conditions above).
Unless the property requires a larger deposit, a $75 per person deposit is payable at the time of booking and full payment no less than 30 days prior to departure. Bookings within 30 days of departure or those including vehicles travelling between 24 December and 10 January must be paid in full at the time of booking.
8.1 In the event that a reservation is cancelled, SeaLink's fees will apply unless the accommodation providers fees are greater than those detailed below:
For cancellations received:
More than 30 days before departure – loss of deposit.
Between 7 - 30 days before departure - 50% of the total cost.
Between 1 - 7 days before departure - 80% of the total cost.
On the day of departure / or failure to check in - 100% of the total cost.

WAIHEKE AUTO RENTALS
Prices quoted are for a Group B (standard 4-door car)
Insurance excess is $1,000 and covers any damage to the vehicle . Exclusions are fire, theft and attempted theft where the vehicle is fully covered.Drivers require a full current license from any country as long as it can be read (English) and the minimum age is 21 years.
Rental day starts at 8am until the last ferry sailing of that day as all rentals are hired per calendar day.
Free pick up and drop off from Kennedy Point between 8am and 5pm.
Baby and booster seats available at $5.00 per day – please pay direct.
AOTEA RENTALS – GREAT BARRIER ISLAND
The vehicle supplied is a standard mid-range automatic car. All vehicles have radios, air conditioning and child seat options as standard. You must present a credit card when signing for the car to cover insurance. You will be asked to complete a standard vehicle rental form and show a driving license for each named driver.
Your vehicle rental includes unlimited kilometers and insurance. Insurance excess is $2500 and this can be reduced to NIL for a cost of $22 per day.
The vehicle is supplied with a full tank of fuel. You may opt to return the vehicle full, or Aotea Rentals will refuel it and add the cost to your credit card.
Upgrades to station wagon, RAV, 4WD or seven seat SUV may be arranged.
