# To obtain these discounts identification must be shown. Students require appropriate student identification. Seniors fares are valid for those 60 years and over. Seniors Card holders must show their Seniors Card.
Luggage allowance and excess luggage charges
Your allowance is 2 bags per person. Kayaks are $60 return. Dogs are $20 return. Dogs are a threat to our precious birdlife and native skinks - please don't take your dog to Great Barrier unless you absolutely have to. Click here for more info on taking pets to the island. Additional items (including bags, surfboards and bikes) are $20 return.
Fares are valid from 22 August 2011 and are subject to change without notice. All prices include GST. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners and EFTPOS and we do not accept cheques.

Unaccompanied cars will incur a surcharge during Dec - Jan of $25 per sector of travel.
Unaccompanied trailers - During the peak period Dec - Feb, these will only be accepted on freight sailings. A surcharge of $25 per sector of travel applies at all times.
